Not only are they limited to being installed around a sink, you may also have one integrated into your countertop. Countertops, as with flooring, can have products added to give multiple illusions, things like glass, aggregate, and lighting. made to suit whatever you need, the countertops are created and then installed into your home. DESCRIPTION OF METHODS AND TERMS

Shattered Glass:

Not what you would think it to be, the glass used in the countertops are finely broken into little particles and then sprinkled into the countertop to give it a more dimensional appearance.

Stain:

As with the floors, countertops can be stained to give many looks. You can do multiple colors, or stain a design into them. Customizing your countertops to match your room is an ideal way to make them give your room that burst of color it needs.

Aggregate:

A technical word for stone, aggregate is sprinkled into the countertops to give them a surface that is unlike any other. Using multiple or single colors you can do them as heavily or lightly as you would like.
